For project one, it aims to develop students’ understanding and knowledge of building services and its systems in design and construction. It is also teach the student to apply appropriate building services systems and solution for a specific design. Through this project, it allows the student to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of applicability of specific building services systems in the design in response to practical considerations and to develop students’ ability to resolve issues related to specific building services systems.

 

In this project, students are given a plan to work with and to demonstrate their understanding of building services by proposing and designing appropriate services by proposing and designing appropriate systems for the building which include:

i) electrical supply system

ii) cold water and hot water supply system

iii) sewage and sanitary system

iv) storm water and drainage system
