Porject 1 deals with user experience which require the students to design a personal space which is intended for a specific user based on an in-depth study of the user's need. It is also to develop awareness of environmental sustainability in a design and student's ability to meet the imperative and inter-related social needs.

In a group of 3, we are required to visit an elderly center and identify a subject (an elderly) for investigation and understand his/her specific needs/ attributes that will influence the design of the structure. For my group, we have picked Ms. Yong who was a former church member from Kuala Lumpur, she is very religious and outgoing and therefore, we have designed a space which integrates the two elements together specially for her.
