In this project, we are to form a group of 3 or 4 people and carry out a thorough study on the building chosen, which must be of either tensile or gridshell structure. We have decided to take the challenge by deciding on gridshell structure where the case study chosen is Shigeru Ban's Haesley Nine Bridges Gold Club located in Korea.

Thorough research and studies have been conducted in which we are able to produce a scaled model of the structure and also technical drawings, showing the construction details. The boards attached below shows our understanding of the building's structure as well as it's load path.

REFLECTION

From this project, I have learned gridshell structure works and how the loads are transferred throughout the structure. I have also learn about the construction details and joints used to assemble the structure.
